Dashboard Overview

Click any feed on your Graze dashboard to open its page. This is where you see how readers are using the feed, manage its sticky posts and suggestions, and get to everything else you can do with it. Here's what's on it, from top to bottom.

Banners

Messages about the feed's state appear at the very top when there's something to tell you. For example:

  • Right after you first publish a feed (or run a backfill), a banner shows Graze filling it with matching posts from recent hours, then how many posts were added. If nothing matched, it says so: "Nothing from the last few hours matched this feed, so it starts empty." That usually means your rules are narrower than you meant.
  • While a migrated feed is moving over, and once it's ready to publish.
  • If the feed uses features that are being retired, a banner lists them so you can update the feed.

The header

The header shows the feed's avatar and name, whether it's published, when it was last updated, and its tags. Along the right are buttons for:

  • Delete and Duplicate (feed owners only).
  • Version History: earlier saved versions of the feed.
  • Rate limits: only shown when the feed uses a Natural Language or Ask a Question node.
  • Feed Gym: only shown when the Feed Gym is turned on for this feed.
  • Collaborators: people you've invited to help run the feed. See Collaborators.
  • Curation desk: the queue of suggested posts, with a count when some are waiting. See Curation Desk.
  • Feed Settings: visibility, access control, backfill and rebuild, and monetization.
  • Share and Open on Bluesky.
  • Edit feed: opens the editor.
  • Publish: appears when you have saved changes that aren't live yet.

Feed Pulse

Feed owners see a Feed Pulse section: a short daily summary of the feed's most-viewed posts from the day before. If it isn't on yet, the Turn on Feed Pulse button takes you to Feed Settings, where you can switch it on. Once it's on, a new pulse appears each morning, and you can press Write yesterday's pulse to make one straight away.

Suggestions

If people can suggest posts for your feed, the Suggestions section lists posts that have been put forward. Nothing here is in the feed until someone who can add posts accepts it. You can work through the full queue on the Curation Desk.

Analytics

The row of cards under Analytics gives you the feed's headline numbers. Each one is a daily average over the last 30 days, with a small trend line beside it:

  • DAUs: the number of different people your feed served posts to each day.
  • Posts: how many new posts were added to your feed each day.
  • Likes/day: how many people liked the feed itself on Bluesky each day. This is not likes on posts in your feed. Feed likes help Bluesky recommend your feed to new readers.
  • Post Renders: how many posts your feed served to readers each day, counting every post on every page.
  • Feed Requests: how many pages of your feed were requested each day. Opening the feed is one request, and scrolling far enough to load more is another.

Comparing these is useful. Feed Requests well above DAUs means readers come back and scroll; Post Renders divided by Feed Requests tells you roughly how many posts each page carries.

Click any card to open a full-screen chart. From there you can switch between Unique Users, Posts, Post Views and Feed Views, and choose a time period from 7 to 360 days.

Top Posts

Top Posts is a carousel of the posts your readers interacted with most, showing the replies, reposts and likes each got from your feed's readers. Use the arrows to step back and forward a day at a time.

Sticky Posts

The Sticky Posts card lists your pinned and rotating posts, whether each is active, its type and order, when it expires, and how many views and people it has reached, both in total and today. Press + ("Add a sticky post") to add one, or use the ⋯ menu on a row to activate, deactivate, reorder or delete it. Click a row for that post's analytics.

The Source column shows whether a sticky post was added on this feed only or comes from a Sticky Set. Read more in Sticky Posts.

Engagement

The Engagement table shows how individual posts in your feed are doing today (days are in UTC). By default it lists the posts your feed's readers engaged with most.

  • Interaction Engagement, Interaction Likes, Interaction Replies, Interaction Reposts and Interaction Quote Posts count actions taken on the post while it was being read in your feed, as reported by Bluesky.
  • Reader Likes, Reader Replies and Reader Reposts count likes, replies and reposts on the post from people who read your feed.
  • Request Less and Request More count readers choosing "Show less like this" or "Show more like this" on the post in your feed. See Feed Feedback and Personalization.

Use the filter button at the top right of the table to choose which columns to show; Graze remembers your choice for this feed on this browser. Detailed View opens a full-screen version showing each post in full, with your readers' replies, reposts and likes next to the post's total from everyone on Bluesky.

Monetization

If monetization is turned on for the feed, a Monetization section lists campaign Requests waiting for your answer and Accepted campaigns running on your feed. The Coupons button lets you Create discount codes for advertisers and Edit Coupons you've made. Read more in Sponsored Posts.

Feed Definition

At the bottom is a read-only view of your feed's rules and layers, with the editor's tools for checking it: Live Feed to see what's in the feed now, Debug to test a post against your rules, and Insert posts to add posts by hand. Press Edit to make changes. See Testing and Fixing your Feed.

Making sense of it

A few habits that help:

  • Look at Top Posts and the Engagement table regularly to see what your readers respond to, then tune your rules.
  • Watch the Request Less column. Posts that collect a lot of it are a sign your rules are letting in things your readers don't want.
  • Keep an eye on the DAUs trend. Numbers rise and fall naturally, but a steady slide is worth investigating.
  • Encourage readers to like the feed on Bluesky. It's the one number on this page that directly helps new people find you.
